Stay up to date on cutting-edge technology
With over 30 years of design experience, Plastic Dip Moldings is ready to help you make your idea a reality. We work closely with our clients, applying our processes to their designs. By doing so, together we achieve the desired results/objectives and find solutions for our clients' requirements.
We believe this partnership approach between us and our customer results in the development of a successful product. We like to get involved as early as possible in clients' design process and, where necessary, take responsibility for developing prototypes to their specifications, through to producing detailed CAD designs for final production.
We use the latest version of Solidworks and can import your 3D model directly using STEP, IGES or dwg files, but hand-drawn sketches and photos will also provide us with the necessary information. So whether it's the initial concept on a napkin or final finished designs, we can help.
Tooling
Good Tooling Makes Good Molding - The vast majority of the tooling we use is made in-house by our experienced tooling team. Our well-equipped workshops allow us to manufacture the tools for all our processes and therefore allow us to have control of the tools produced. Our aim is to offer a cost effective tooling service with short lead times for any process producing the high quality plastic components we are proud to manufacture.
Dip Molding
Dip molding is essentially a technique for the economical production of flexible and semi-rigid PVC components. It is particularly suitable for medium and small quantities, but should not be ignored for large volumes either, as it can be competitive compared to injection molding.
We stock a standard range of PVC products including grips, caps, sleeves, guards and corner protectors.
Dip Coating
Essentially, dip coating is the same as dip molding, except you provide us with the parts that require coating and act as a tool. Our dip molding skills and experience transfer seamlessly to our coating service.
We have a wide range of colors and a wide range of material features, from anti-fungal and anti-static to U.V. resistance to FDA approved materials. So for any dip coating needs you may have, we've got you covered, literally.
